Invitation to COP 22 Side Event "Building Resilience for Climate Change Adaptation in Archipelagic and Small Island Developing States

The Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, Republic of Indonesia in collaboration with Global Ocean Forum and World Ocean Network will organize a side event at the upcoming Marrakech Climate Change Conference entitled “Building Resilience for Climate Change Adaptation in Archipelagic and Small Island Developing States”. The event will be held on Friday, 11 November 2016 time 11:30 -13:00 at the Mediterranean Room (Blue Zone), Bab Ighli, Marrakech, Morocco.

It is our honour to invite you to participate at the side event, a forum to share knowledge, experiences and lessons learned from policy makers and practitioners on how to build and strengthen resilient capacity for archipelagic and Small Island developing States in the face of climate change, particularly for marine and fisheries sectors.

We do hope that you can be part of this event. This side event is open to all registered participants of the UN Climate Change Conference (COP 22/CMP 12), and seats are available on a first come first served basis. However, you are kindly asked to register at at http://kkp.go.id/cop22/register/ as it will help the organizers to make better preparation and to communicate any changes of the side event through your provided email address.
