Executive Director

I am a retired Meteorologist from the Malawi Department of Climate Change and Meteorological Services where I worked for 33 years.

I am currently an Executive Director for my founded and established Non-Governmental Organisation called “Centre for Climate Change and Environment Management, CCCEM”, whose main objective is collectively to address negative effects of Climate Change to the world community through Environmental Data Rescue and Digitization and to enhance community resilience and adaptation programs.

I am also the African Programs Manager with the International Environmental Data Rescue Organisation, (www.iedro.org) based in the United States of America, USA.

I am armed with a vast experience of community engagements in the negotiations of Early Warning Systems and Disaster Risk Reduction strategies’ have a Diploma in Disaster Risk Reduction Management, Certificate in Meteorology and several qualifications in Social Work. I am just about to complete my degree program in Project Management.

I am also a qualified Climate Data Rescue and Digitizer Consultant and have travelled to several countries to assist in Capacity building the team members of the NHMS of those country to effectively preserve their Climate Data for future emerging scientists.
