The eThekwini Municipality (Durban) supported by the C40 City Finance Facility (CFF) has developed a business case for a Transformative River Management Programme (TRMP). The TRMP aims to adapt the 7 400 km of streams and rivers in the city to flooding and other climate-related hazards that are anticipated from climate change. The business case, underpinned by cost-benefit analyses, details the avoided damage and benefits that ensue from investing in riverine management. If you missed the webinar on the key findings of the business case (held on 4th Feb), please click here for more information. In the webinar that will be held on the 26th Feb, we will explore the different pathways for implementing city-wide transformative riverine management.

This webinar series is hosted by the C40 CFF and eThekwini Municipality.
